A brief history
The three founders met for a beer to hatch a plan on how to leave corporate life and fix the painful AML process. First AML was born.
After many meetings, they closed the first customer just in the nick of time, the legislation was rolling out the next day.
The First AML Project exploded into a complex business with the $200k injection of seed capital.
A moment of crisis forged the company ethos when one of the biggest clients gave an ultimatum; develop the platform or they'd leave. V1 of the First AML platform was created.
Going from strength to strength a successful Series A capital raise of $NZ 8m gave the company the cash it needed to expand into Australia and further develop the platform.
Building on exceptional momentum, First AML successfully closed a Series B capital raise of $NZ 30m, providing the capital needed for true global expansion.
First AML expanded to the UK, rapidly going from 0 to 24 employees and winning clients across all industries.
With multiple awards received, a leading platform and global presence, First AML won their first banking customer. Opening the door to a whole new market.
