About the role.

Description.

First AML’s Head of Enterprise Onboarding is responsible for the successful onboarding of our enterprise customers who typically have more complex requirements. You’ll be hands-on when it comes to some of the later stage conversations with enterprise prospects, running end to end enterprise onboarding whilst creating a world class enterprise onboarding strategy.

You’ll work closely with our wider global team, including partnerships, product and engineering, sales, marketing and customer success too.  Your role is critical to the success of First AML as you will be one of the key players in ensuring that our enterprise customers immediately see and feel the benefits of our products.

Our Global Onboarding and Implementation Team is led by Chris Caigou - Chief Customer Officer.  With a passion for solving customers problems in the AML and compliance space, you’ll always be empowered to bring new initiatives to the table. You will report directly to Chris and you’ll work incredibly closely with our ANZ CS & OB Lead Rebecca Passlow who has a passion for solving complex customer problems.

Core accountabilities.

Onboarding and implementation

  • Responsible for the successful integration and onboarding of our enterprise portfolio
  • You’ll organise your onboarding calls with key stakeholders and manage the full end to end implementation process until the customer is ready to be handed over to our customer success team for ongoing management
  • Ensure that you manage the onboarding process like well oiled machine and keep things on track through Discovery, Design, Integration, Testing and Training phases
  • Leverage project management and other communication tools to ensure all parties are clear on their responsibilities and timelines are being met
  • You’ll ensure that your customers are set up to optimise our product to its full capacity
  • Build relationships with various stakeholders

Enterprise onboarding strategy

  • Design an enterprise onboarding strategy that guides First AML enterprise onboardings
  • Establish clear onboarding frameworks, success criteria, and governance models to ensure alignment across stakeholders
  • Drive structured onboarding plans that balance speed to value with risk management, security review processes and enterprise change management
  • Act as a strategic advisor to customers guiding them through platform adoption, workflow transformation and operational readiness
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers within enterprise onboarding programmes, escalating and resolving issues to maintain momentum
  • Continuously refine and improve enterprise implementations

Technical expertise

  • Provide hands on technical support to your customers along the way where needed, coordinating with our engineering team and their internal teams
  • Provide technical feedback to our product managers and engineers around improving the UX and API updates required
  • Light touch technical support to onboarding your customers
  • Understanding your customers API’s and integration needs
  • Ensure that the integration is set to optimise the product for your customers

Key success metrics.

  • Delivering all onboarding projects within agreed timelines and scope
  • Achieving and maintaining high customer satisfaction scores for onboarding and technical integration 
  • Ensuring customers complete all key onboarding milestones e.g. API connections live and tested, data pipelines validated, first transactions or use cases completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Minimising implementation rework or escalations through accurate configuration and proactive issue resolution.
  • Identifying and escalating common technical or product gaps to the Product and Engineering teams to drive improvements.

  • 3+ years in an enterprise onboarding role
  • Experience with creating and executing enterprise onboarding frameworks
